Web Analytics with Umami
We use Umami Analytics to statistically evaluate website usage. Umami is open-source and privacy-friendly by design: it runs on our own servers located in Germany (no data transfer to third parties), sets no cookies, does not track you across websites, and stores all collected data anonymized. Data collected includes pages viewed, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, and approximate region – none of which allows identifying you personally.
We additionally use Umami's session-recording feature, which records anonymized interaction patterns (e.g. scrolling and clicks) to help us improve usability. This data is likewise stored anonymized and never combined with other data sources.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in anonymously analyzing and improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Since no personal data is processed and no cookies are set, no consent is required.
Links to Google Play and the Apple App Store
This website links to our app listings on Google Play and the Apple App Store. Clicking these links takes you to the respective platform, where Google or Apple independently process data under their own privacy policies. We have no influence over data processing on those platforms.
Our Google Play links include a campaign referrer parameter that lets us see which part of our site drove an install. This does not transmit any personal data – only a generic campaign label.
